    • Tie Guan Yin is also known as Iron Goddess. Muzha Tieguanyin from Taiwan is often compared to the light-roasted Tieguanyin in China. However, Tieguanyin is one of the heaviest roasted oolong teas in Taiwan and maintained the traditional Tieguanyin-making methods from the older times in Anxi, China.

Tie Guan Yin is not only a oolong tea name, but also refers to a cultivar.

Our Tie guan yin is crafted by a renowned tea master in Maokong, Mu Zha, located in the Wenshan District of Taipei, Taiwan, a renowned production region for the best Taiwanese Tieguanyin teas. This special tea is made from the Tie Guan Yin cultivar leaves picked in spring and winter, undergoing medium fermentation and heavy roasting. The result is a rich, fruity aroma mixed with a elegant floral fragrance and a pleasant caramel and woody aftertaste. The tea liquor also carries a hint of minerality and slight fruit acidity due to a rare Tieguanyin cultivar blended in the tea leaves.

This distinctive aroma profile is favored by professional tea connoisseurs, as well as many coffee and whisky enthusiasts. It is a must-try from our tea collection, offering a unique and delightful experience for all tea lovers.
