Product description
Sourced from the highly renowned tea master (Chasho) Shinya Yamaguchi, Matcha HOUJU (very limited) is expertly crafted from hand-selected tea leaves grown in the prominent Hoshino region of Yame province. HOUJU is made from the top 10 tea batches out of the Hoshino tea competition each year, using only the best part of tea leaves selected by hand and then ground with a stone mill.
Flavour Profile
intensive flavors of soybean, rich buttery aroma and creamy texture, hints of soft floral notes, very strong umami, and a long-lasting, deep sweetness and nutty aftertaste. It has very little (almost no) bitterness, and it reminded me of the notes of top-grade green teas, like Xi Hu Long Jing.
How to Brew
Use 1 or 2 Matcha spoons per approximately 70ml of water between 75℃ and 85℃
