    • Old Bush Osmanthus Fragrance (Lao Cong Gui Hua Xiang)

Lao Cong Gui Hua Xiang is one of the classic aroma types of Phoenix Dancong Oolong, known for its natural osmanthus fragrance and elegant floral sweetness. This single-tree selection comes from Zimao Village in the Phoenix Mountain region of Chaozhou, Guangdong, grown at over 800 meters above sea level from 50+ year-old tea trees.

Our selection focuses on the qualities that define a high-grade old bush Dancong: vivid natural fragrance, smooth texture, clean structure, and a long floral-sweet aftertaste. Finished with two rounds of medium-light roasting, the tea preserves a bright osmanthus aroma while adding depth, roundness, and balance to the liquor.

The tea opens with a clear and graceful osmanthus blossom note, followed by honeyed florals, soft ripe fruit, and a gentle mineral sweetness. The liquor is golden-orange, smooth, and layered, with the floral aroma beautifully carried through the tea soup and lingering across many gong fu infusions.
