Mindful Tea Tasting with Meditation Practice
Together, we will share a quiet moment of tea and presence — where sipping in silence reveals not just the taste of tea, but a gentle connection to inner peace.
Yan Yun Cha — Where fairly sourced clean tea meets mindful drinking practices, crafted with care from Germany and China.
This workshop is a gentle invitation to intentionally slow down while drinking tea. By focusing on subtle sensations like warmth and texture, we appreciate the tea more deeply and explore how it bridges the peace and wisdom that lives within us.
Yun from China, rooted in yoga and meditation, and Yan from Germany, with research in Chinese and Taiwanese tea, come together to share this communal tea drinking as a mindful experience.
What you’ll do:
- Sit with the group receiving a gentle intro to using tea as a tool for turning inward, letting
- silence awaken your senses.
- Sip slowly, together but quietly, letting the warmth of the tea and the moment sink in.
- Experience a short guided meditation to help you settle into the present.
- Share about tea tasting notes and/or your meditation experience in a safe environment,
- allowing insights to flow.
Outcome:
You will enjoy an hour of guided tea tasting and group meditation, gaining new insights from this shared experience to support your future moments of mindful tea tasting and meditation practices.
Included:
We’ll brew high-quality, clean tea for you throughout the session. We recommend bringing your own
cushion or yoga mat for comfortable sitting throughout the experience.
No prior tea drinking or meditation experience needed — simply come as you are.
