    • Taiwan Shui Xian Tie Guan Yin: A Unique Oolong Experience

While Tieguanyin originates from Anxi in Fujian, Taiwan has embraced this heritage with its own interpretation, distinguished by meticulous roasting craftsmanship. Taiwanese Tieguanyin often carries a smoother body and a deeper, more layered warmth, shaped by the island’s terroir and artisanal techniques passed down through generations.

This tea is crafted from an early introduction of both the Shuixian and Tieguanyin cultivars to Taiwan. The Shuixian contributes a graceful orchid-like fragrance, while Tieguanyin lends its hallmark fruity undertone with a faint mineral-metallic note. Unlike the heavily roasted styles typical of traditional Taiwanese Tieguanyin, this batch is finished with a medium roast, intentionally preserving the cultivars’ natural aromatic signatures.

With deeper fermentation and a roast calibrated to perfection, the liquor unfolds as rich, mellow, and rounded, carrying subtle layers of baked grain warmth and ripe fruit aroma. Elegant yet comforting, this tea represents a unique expression of Taiwanese Tieguanyin, bridging tradition and nuance in every cup.
