    • Ceramics shape the tea we drink, while incense, an unseen vessel, shapes how we feel it.

Join us on a tea-centered journey where incense gently shapes the space and atmosphere in which tea is experienced. Experience the tea vessels you can hold in your hand as well as the aroma vessels that unfold in your imagination.

Incense has long been used to accompany the tea-drinking experience since the Dang dynasty. We’ve curated a selection of exquisite oolongs as well as our exclusive aged teas, accompanied by premium natural incenses made with prestige ingredients such as aged white Sandalwood and sinking-grade Agarwood (aloewood).

This one-hour session is tailored for tea lovers and those interested in Eastern Zen rituals, with the aim of deepening their appreciation for delicate flavours and enhancing the overall sensory experience.

      OUTLINE:

      10 Minutes:

Explain the teas and incenses we will use, and demonstrate the savoring techniques employed by tea and incense professionals.

      40 Minutes:

Guide participants through tasting different teas and incense. We’ll also delve deeper into the cultural context and history, exploring how tea and incense have been harmoniously integrated.

      10 Minutes:

In this interactive segment, participants will select their preferred incense. Subsequently, they will discover which tea pairing they found most enjoyable. This hands-on element will conclude the session, helping participants retain the techniques and discover their personal favourite combination.

      IMPORTANT NOTES:

Before participating in the session, it's best to refrain from wearing perfumes or scented products and eating strongly flavored foods such as onions, garlic, and spices. This will ensure the best experience for all participants.

How to Enjoy Natural Incense Sticks

    - Keep the incense in a distance with you, around 2-3 meters.

    - Scents Dispersion: Allow the scents to fill the space for 5-10 minutes. Experience the aroma from different distances and note the aftertaste once the incense has burned out.

    - Avoid Direct Inhalation: Do not inhale the smoke directly within 20cm. This smoke primarily contains the burning scent of natural ingredients, as our incense is 100% natural with no added aromas.

    - Ventilation: After the incense has burned out, allow fresh air in or slightly open a window during the burning to increase the air flow.

We only use the natural, wild-grown agarwood in our incense products. Working with Mr. Chen, my teacher, and a third-generation successor owning a century-old nationally-awarded incense house for our signature incense collection. He is also one of the biggest collectors of wild-grown agarwood in Taiwan and China regions.

*The product does NOT include the plates, cups, teapots, incense holders,  raw materials and other decorations in the photos.
