About

Lishan Tian Chi (Sky Lake) Oolong

Tian Chi (Sky Lake) is the peak of the Fu Shou Tea Garden on Lishan.

This batch is picked in the 2025 Spring, the most premium high-mountain oolong from Taiwan with evident floral scents, cooling sensation in mouth and refreshing aftertastes (Hui Gan). Very lightly roasted.

The Unique Flavor Profile

Lishan Tian Chi Oolong tea is recognized for its light and refreshing flavor profile. Sourced from the 2650m high-altitude region of Lishan in Taiwan, this tea reflects the unique environment in which it is cultivated. With each sip, you experience subtle floral notes combined with a touch of creaminess, creating a harmonious balance. This appealing flavor makes it an excellent choice for both seasoned tea drinkers and newcomers alike.

Behind This Tea

Does tea continue to mature even in sealed packaging?

We usually enjoy Lishan tea when it’s fresh—bright, floral, and elegant. But there’s another way to experience this tea. Over time, we’ve discovered that Lishan tea continues to develop even when sealed. In fact, when stored properly in a low-oxygen environment, the tea matures in a gentle and fascinating way.

This is because, even without oxygen, natural changes still occur inside the leaves—very slowly—thanks to residual enzymes, tiny amounts of moisture, and interactions between the tea’s compounds. After about a year in low-oxygen at room temperature, fresh Lishan tea evolves from its signature floral aroma into something fruitier—reminiscent of ripe peaches. The transformation in both aroma and taste can be striking and memorable.

You can easily experiment it and compare an unopened bag stored at room temperature for 10 to 12 months.
